And now for some history! This does not lead up to where I'm currently writing, no. So far the only introduced races have been Humans, Minotaur, Elves, Dwarves, and Halfling. Draco-Morphs, Orcs, and Goblins have yet to be discovered.

The origins of Lang Reich are from the East-originally, before a drought, it was grass lands. Lang Reich was originally called Verstorbene Reich-it was smaller the Lang Reich and was in the East. The first King, as Verstorbene Reich was a monarchy, was named Fufsen. He was the first of great kings in a line, and made Verstorbene Reich survive for many years. Unfortunately, he had no successor. Verstorbene Reich fell into a short period of anarchy, expanding its borders to the west as it did-the many Clans as it where expanded where they could. Think Feudal Europe. After years of this, most of the Clans had fought and expanded to the center, basing their towns around a river that flowed through the land.

The Clans which expanded into the Center became one Clan, and those of the East became one as well. The Clans of the Center formed along the river which went into the land, and their first town was that of Achenreich. The Clans of the East and of the Center warred for many years, and eventually came to peace when the Clans of the East surrendered and went south, agreeing with those of Achenreich that all the fighting would desolate the rich and soil lands of the East.

Of course, it was too late for this. All the blood spilled and fires burnt had already desolated the lands of the East, and it turned into a desert. The lands of the west were the same, covered in lush grass lands. However, there was a difference. There was a civilization that was there, and were known to those of the South and of Lang Reich as the Bull-Men.

Although some talks were attempted, war broke out quickly and immediately. Those of the South and Center had yet to discover the powers of Magic-unfortunately for the, the Bull-Men had. The war they had been short and brutal, and ended in the desolation of the West as well.

The Bull-Men were beaten in the war, although they killed many of Lang Reich and the South, and the Magic’s they cast split the greenery of the West asunder. Rain fell unusually and in large amounts in the West after that, flooding it deeply. The Minotaur (Bull-Men) were mostly accepted-easily. They soon forgot about their destroyed homeland and lived with those of Lang Reich. And then, there was peace, for a time.

But then that peace ended. For a reason known only to the Great Chieftain of the South (As he was known-his name is not important, only his title), once again attacked Lang Reich. The fighting was long and brutal, even with the Minotaur fighting along side those of Lang Reich. The reason was because the South had found an ally in what was south-Men of green skin and tight muscles, but stupid in the head. There were also those of green skin who were no stronger then children, but their sneakiness, and adeptness in Magic, was something unheard of. Even the Order of Minotaur was hard fought to fight against the Dwarves, Elves, Humans, Orc's, and Goblins. Soon enough, the Minotaur grew rampant, their Order being slaughtered in a cross fire by both Lang Reich and The South. The Minotaur fought rampantly against everyone, and butchered many before retreating back to the East, deciding to make their new homes where the humans had made their old.

The War of Clans, as it was called, raged on even past the Minotaur leaving. The armies of Lang Reich fought hard, but were beaten all the way back to Achen Reich. There, something amazing happened. While the Goblins besieged the walls of Achen Reich with their powerful magic’s, and the small army inside the elite and the scarred of the army of Lang Reich were preparing for when the walls collapsed…it was suddenly quiet. There was no crumbling, no spells being cast, no war cries and no clash of steel on steel. And then it happened. What, do you ask? Well, you’re gonna have to wait for me to finish the next paragraph. I’m a rat bastard, you say? Why, thank you. (Whoever guesses correctly, first, gets to show up in The Warriors of Night, if they want. Offer expires 2/27/05, eastern time -5, PM or e-mail me.)
